Career path
I started my professional career in 2019, and so have 3 years of experience in Local and Global Regulatory Affairs, especially in local lifecycle management for France, and renewal and new drug registration support for international countries (Africa, APAC, LATAM and Middle-East). Prior to that, I also did an internship at the ANSM (French Health Authority) allowing me to see both sides of Regulatory affairs.
I hold a Master’s degree in Clinical Pharmacology from the Descartes University, Paris, and another Master’s degree in Management of Healthcare Facilities from the EHESP (French School of Public Health), Paris.
PharmaLex
I joined PharmaLex in 2019, as my first position, in our Neuilly-sur-Seine office (now Courbevoie) in France. The first day of the first job is usually not easy and quite stressful, but the day I arrived, I was welcomed warmly. I got an office tour, met my new colleagues who were so kind to offer me their support, especially my Line Manager.
Soon after my arrival, I joined a local and global Outsourcing projects in Pharma Division of a leading Multinational Company. The goal of these Outsourcing projects is to support our clients to refocus on their core business and to allow the management team to allocate staff energies strategically by delegating time-consuming processes and tasks to PharmaLex.
As part of my local outsourcing project, I was quickly made responsible of a portfolio for France, while remaining in contact with Germany and Italy within the framework of European Procedures. After two years, with the integration of other European countries and working on the project from the beginning, I was responsible for training my new colleagues spread across the EU on the use customer-specific tools. Inter-country cooperation, in particular with Belgium, remains strong.
As part of my global project, I traveled to Berlin to start my training. It was a great opportunity to meet my German colleagues face to face, and a good way to create trust despite the distance. It also started my integration into an international project encompassing emerging countries (Africa, APAC, LATAM and Middle-East ), in order to support their local activity by providing global expertise. It is a real challenge to ally our vision of the world with colleagues around the globe, as cultural differences can interfere with our work, great adaptability is necessary. This variety within the project allowed me to broaden my horizons, to expand my knowledge but also to adopt new points of view.
Overall, to be successful in such projects, you have to be open-minded, resilient, adaptable and of course friendly. A long distance bond can’t be created without putting the right effort, but it is worth it, on a professional and personal level. That is why I love my projects, they represents great challenges, that stimulates me on a daily basis and attises my curiosity.
Today, I live in France, a strong cultural and historic country. But my daily contact with the world has strenghten my desire to discover more and I am open to, one day, look out for new challenges in another country, discover new cultures, new people and appreciate the diversity that our world offers.
